What is the Copic Multiliner?
It’s Copic’s disposable drawing pen with pigment ink made to survive being colored over with alcohol markers. Copic Japan describes it as a line-drawing pen whose ink doesn’t bleed under Copic markers, for illustration, manga and pen drawing.
That’s the reason it exists. Many water-based fineliners smudge when an alcohol marker passes over them; the Multiliner’s ink is water-resistant and alcohol-resistant, per Copic.
