Everything here comes from Parafernalia’s Italian product page and refill listing, which we translated.
How does the Kabrio’s clip keep ink off your shirt?
Parafernalia says the clip is shaped so the pen can’t go into a shirt pocket while it is open. That prevents the unwanted ink stains an exposed point can leave.
It doesn’t describe how the clip does this, and we haven’t handled one. Parafernalia’s photos show a black clip arm looping over the top of the body to a hook at the tail.
How do you change the Kabrio’s refill?
You slide the refill out of an open channel in the body, as Parafernalia’s two-page refill sheet shows. The drawings show the refill sitting in a window of the black body, a finger sliding it forward to show the point, and the hook at the tail swinging aside so you can pull the refill out backwards and slide a new one in.
That is our reading of the diagrams, which carry no text. The Online Pen Company calls the Kabrio click-action, so the two sources describe the operation differently.
Parafernalia’s refill listing is an 8126 capless roller with a 0.7 mm point, 108.6 mm long, in blue or black at €6.50 (about US$7.30). It says the ink dries very fast on paper and is guaranteed for more than a year.
A second listing, the P 8126, is 97.5 mm long, but the Kabrio page links to the 108.6 mm one. Our pen refills explainer covers refill formats.
What colors does the Kabrio come in?
Ten on Parafernalia’s shop: Alluminio, Titanio, Nero, Bronzo, Blu, Turchese, Verde bandiera, Arancio, Rosso and Viola. The color is the anodised aluminium front section. The body behind it is black ABS in every version.
How does the Kabrio compare with other Parafernalia pens?
It is the cheapest of Parafernalia’s rollerballs and the stoutest of the three pens in the figure. Sizes and prices come from Parafernalia’s own pages.
Three Parafernalia pens at one scale, from the maker's sizes; the Kabrio is the stoutest.
Where is the Kabrio made, and can you buy it in the US?
Parafernalia says its production stays entirely in Italy, in Milan. Its “Parafernalia oggi” page says Itapec S.r.l. bought the brand in 2024 and kept production in Milan. The Kabrio page itself doesn’t name a country.
In the US, The Online Pen Company’s storefront lists its Kabrio pens, but the Titanium one we read was marked no longer available. We found no other US seller. Parafernalia’s own shop prices in euros, so shipping and import costs outside the EU are not included.
What does the Kabrio cost?
€35 (about US$39) on Parafernalia’s Italian shop on October 28, 2026, in any color. That puts it in our $$$ price band, $20 to $75 per pen.
The retailer’s US storefront showed US$33.20 for the Titanium before marking it unavailable. Parafernalia sells the pen in a cardboard box, and the retailer’s version came in a gift box.
Frequently asked questions
Who designed the Parafernalia Kabrio?
Parafernalia's product page credits only Parafernalia design. Unlike the Revolution, Divina and Linea, it names no outside designer.
What refill does the Parafernalia Kabrio use?
An 8126 capless roller refill, which Parafernalia lists in blue and black. It describes a 0.7 mm point, a length of 108.6 mm and very fast drying, and says the ink is guaranteed for more than a year.
Does the Kabrio have a cap?
No. Parafernalia calls it a capless rollerball, so there is no cap to lose; its refill sheet pictures a finger sliding the refill forward to show the point.
Is the Kabrio a ballpoint or a rollerball?
Parafernalia calls it a capless rollerball and sells a roller refill for it. A retailer, The Online Pen Company, titles its listing a ballpoint but says it holds a black rollerball refill.
Can I use the Divina Roller's refill in a Kabrio?
Parafernalia doesn't say. It lists an 8126 capless refill for the Kabrio and the SRC 5888 for the Divina Roller, so check the length and fit before swapping them.
How does the Kabrio's pen clip work?
Parafernalia says it is shaped to stop you putting the pen into a shirt pocket while it is open, so the point can't stain the fabric. It doesn't give the mechanism, and we haven't handled one.
Is the Parafernalia Kabrio made in Italy?
Parafernalia says its production stays entirely in Italy, in Milan, but the Kabrio page itself doesn't name a country.
Can you buy the Parafernalia Kabrio in the US?
The Online Pen Company, which has a US storefront, marks its Kabrio listings as no longer available. Parafernalia's own shop sells in euros, and we found no other US stockist.
