What is the Parafernalia Woodstock Stilografica?
It is a fountain pen with a wooden barrel and aluminium fittings, from the Milan design brand Parafernalia. Parafernalia’s product page credits the designer as Sergio Carpani, the man behind its Revolution ballpoint, and lists the pen as a stilografica, Italian for fountain pen.
In Parafernalia’s photos the barrel is wood, the cap, tail and rings are black, and a thin wire clip loops over the cap. Our Parafernalia story covers the brand and the Parafernalia brand page lists its guides. This is not the resin Visconti Woodstock, which is a different pen.

Everything here comes from Parafernalia’s Italian product page, which we translated. It doesn’t say whether 127 mm is capped or uncapped, so we drew the pen capped, as its photo shows it.
Which wood should you choose?
Pick by look and budget; the pen underneath is the same. Parafernalia’s page offers three woods, each priced differently.
Ciliegio (cherry): a straight-grained, warm brown barrel, the lowest price at €125 (about US$140).
Ulivo (olive): a lighter tan wood with dark, wavy grain, at €130 (about US$146).
Radica: a red-brown burl wood, the dearest at €135 (about US$151). Parafernalia doesn’t name the species.
Wood grain varies from piece to piece, so the pen you receive won’t match the photo exactly.
How does the Woodstock fill, and what nib does it have?
It takes standard cartridges or a converter, and a converter is included. Parafernalia’s page says so in one line, and its photos show a clear converter with a black knob lifting out of the pen. Our filling guide explains how converters work.
The nib comes in EF or F. Parafernalia doesn’t say what metal it is or who makes it, though its Divina fountain pen is described as powered by Schmidt writing systems; see fountain pen nib sizes for how EF and F compare.
How does the Woodstock compare with other Parafernalia pens?
It is the dearest pen in Parafernalia’s shop and the only wooden one we found. Sizes and prices come from Parafernalia’s own pages; the Divina and Revolution are all-aluminium.
Three Parafernalia pens at one scale, from the maker's sizes; the Woodstock is the thickest.
Where is the Parafernalia Woodstock made?
Parafernalia says its production stays entirely in Italy, in Milan. Its “Parafernalia oggi” page says Itapec S.r.l. bought the brand in 2024 and kept production in Milan with its longtime partners. The Woodstock page itself doesn’t name a country, and we found no US retailer for this pen, so we read only Parafernalia’s own shop.
What does the Woodstock cost?
€125 (about US$140) to €135 (about US$151) on Parafernalia’s Italian shop on October 27, 2026, depending on the wood. That is roughly double the €65 (about US$73) Divina fountain pen, and it puts the Woodstock in our $$$$ price band, over $75 per pen.
The price is the same for the EF and F nib, and Parafernalia sells it in a cardboard box. We saw prices only on Parafernalia’s own shop, so shipping and any import costs outside the EU are not included.
