Notes on these facts
  • Made by Itapec S.r.l. (owner of the Parafernalia brand since 2024, Milan, Italy). Made in Italy: Parafernalia's 'Parafernalia oggi' page says Itapec S.r.l. bought the brand in 2024 and that production stays entirely in Italy, in Milan, with its longtime production partners. The Divina page itself doesn't name a country. Source. Price: example listing.
  • Colors: names per Parafernalia Italy, checked October 28, 2026. The nine colors Parafernalia's shop offers for the Divina Stilografica, with the maker's Italian names. Its description text also lists Bronzo (bronze), but the shop has no bronze option, so we leave it out. Every color comes with an EF, F or M nib. Tints were sampled from Parafernalia's product photos of each color. Tints are representative, not measured. Shops stock different colors.
  • Price bands are typical US retail, checked October 2026. Conversions to US dollars are approximate, at October 2026 rates (US$1 = ¥158 = ₩1,330 = NT$32.5 = CN¥6.7 = SEK 9.9 = DKK 6.7 = ₺49.6 = C$1.41 = A$1.43 = CZK 21.7; €1 = US$1.12; £1 = US$1.32; CHF 1 = US$1.21).

What is the Parafernalia Divina Stilografica?

It is a slim aluminium fountain pen from the Milan design brand Parafernalia, credited to Sergio Carpani. Parafernalia’s Italian page says it restarts a project from 1978, re-engineered with modern production systems in 2017 and brought back into its collection. Gessato, a design site, tells the same story.

Parafernalia says the pen is made from a single aluminium bar and anodised in its own colors. It is a plain cylinder with a cap, and Parafernalia calls it light, pleasant and reliable.

Our Parafernalia story covers the brand, and the Parafernalia brand page lists its guides.

Everything here comes from Parafernalia’s Italian product page, which we translated. It doesn’t say whether 135 mm is capped, but Pen Chalet lists 136.5 mm capped, so we drew the pen capped.

Which nib sizes and colors does the Divina come in?

Nine colors and three nibs on Parafernalia’s shop: EF, F and M, in every color. That makes 27 options, all at the same price.

The colors, in the maker’s Italian names, are Alluminio, Titanio, Nero, Blu, Turchese, Verde bandiera, Arancio, Rosso and Viola. The product description also lists bronze, but the shop has no bronze option, so check before you plan around it.

Our nib sizes guide explains how EF, F and M compare. Pen Chalet’s listing offers fine, medium and broad instead, which suggests US stock can differ from Parafernalia’s shop.

How does the Divina fill, and what ink does it take?

It takes standard cartridges, and a converter lets it use bottled ink. Parafernalia lists its Schmidt K5 converter as the compatible filler. That converter is a piston type with two nickel-plated metal bands and a transparent ink reservoir with an elastic seal, sold separately at €7 (about US$7.80).

The Online Pen Company says its Divina comes with one blue cartridge and that a converter is sold separately. Parafernalia doesn’t give the K5’s capacity. Parafernalia also sells 30 ml bottles of fountain pen ink in ten colors at €10 (about US$11); see our filling guide for how a converter works.

How does the Divina compare with other Parafernalia pens?

It is slimmer than the Woodstock and shares its body with the Divina Roller. Sizes and prices come from Parafernalia’s own pages.

Where is the Divina made, and can you buy it in the US?

Parafernalia says its production stays entirely in Italy, in Milan. Its “Parafernalia oggi” page says Itapec S.r.l. bought the brand in 2024 and kept production in Milan with its longtime partners. The Divina page itself doesn’t name a country.

In the US, Pen Chalet carries a Divina page, but its Black version showed out of stock on October 28, 2026. The Online Pen Company, which also has a US storefront, marks its Divina listings as no longer available.

Parafernalia’s own shop prices in euros, so shipping and import costs outside the EU are not included.

What does the Divina cost?

€65 (about US$73) on Parafernalia’s Italian shop on October 28, 2026, for any color and any of the three nibs. That puts it in our $$$ price band, $20 to $75 per pen.

The Online Pen Company’s US storefront showed US$71.78 for the Black Divina before marking it unavailable. Parafernalia sells the pen in a cardboard box, and a US retailer’s version came in a gift box.

Parafernalia’s Woodstock costs about twice as much, and its Divina Roller is €5 (about US$5.60) cheaper.

Frequently asked questions

Who designed the Parafernalia Divina fountain pen?

Sergio Carpani, according to the designer line on Parafernalia's product page. Parafernalia says the pen restarts a 1978 project and was re-engineered and reintroduced in 2017.

Is the Parafernalia Divina Stilografica made in Italy?

Parafernalia says its production stays entirely in Italy, in Milan, but the Divina page itself doesn't name a country. Pen Chalet's blog says Parafernalia is based in Milan and makes its pens there.

What is the Divina's nib made of?

Parafernalia doesn't say. Pen Chalet lists a stainless steel nib, and The Online Pen Company lists a stainless steel nib finish in medium, so we read it as steel but can't confirm who makes it.

How much does the Parafernalia Divina weigh?

13 g, according to Parafernalia, which calls it very light. Pen Chalet lists 11.34 g (0.4 oz); we haven't weighed one, so we use the maker's figure.

Does the Divina take bottled ink?

Yes, with a converter. Parafernalia says the pen takes standard cartridges and that a converter lets it use any ink, and its shop sells a Schmidt K5 piston converter separately.

Is the Divina fountain pen the same as the Divina Roller?

No. The Divina Roller has the same 135 × 10 × 10 mm body but takes a Schmidt SRC 5888 rollerball refill with a 0.7 mm ceramic ball. It costs €60 (about US$67).

Does the Divina come in a broad nib?

Not on Parafernalia's shop, which sells EF, F and M. Pen Chalet's listing offers fine, medium and broad, so a US retailer may stock a size Parafernalia's shop doesn't show.

Can you buy the Parafernalia Divina in the US?

Pen Chalet has a Divina page, but its Black version showed out of stock on October 28, 2026, and The Online Pen Company marks its Divina listings as no longer available. Parafernalia's own shop sells in euros.
