Notes on these facts
Made by Nitoms, Inc. (ニトムズ). Country of manufacture not stated: STALOGY's product page for the Editor's Series doesn't name a country of manufacture, and Yoseka's listing doesn't either. Our 365 Days guide records Japan for that sibling from Amazon Japan and Galen Leather, but we haven't found the same for the 1/2 Year. Price: example listing.
Colors: names per STALOGY Japan, checked November 2, 2026. STALOGY's Japanese lineup table lists the A5 1/2 Year Notebook in four colors (S4108 to S4111) and the A6 and B6 in black only (S4115, S4123). Each tint is the hex chip STALOGY shows beside the product name, not a measured color. Yoseka also sells the B6 in red, blue and yellow, which STALOGY's table doesn't list. Tints are representative, not measured. Shops stock different colors.
Price bands are typical US retail, checked October 2026. Conversions to US dollars are approximate, at October 2026 rates (US$1 = ¥158 = ₩1,330 = NT$32.5 = CN¥6.7 = SEK 9.9 = DKK 6.7 = ₺49.6 = C$1.41 = A$1.43 = CZK 21.7; €1 = US$1.12; £1 = US$1.32; CHF 1 = US$1.21).

What is the Stalogy 1/2 Year Notebook?
It is the slim version of Stalogy’s Editor’s Series notebook, with half the pages of the 365 Days. Stalogy’s Japanese page lists both together: 368 pages for the 365 Days and 192 for the 1/2 Year.
Each page carries only a few light elements: month, day and date at the top, an hour column down the side and a thin gray grid. Stalogy says it was designed for editors, who use a notebook for ideas, interview notes and schedules. Our Stalogy 365 Days guide covers the thick one.

Stalogy prints the A5 as “210 mm × 148 mm” on its page; we write it portrait, as in our 365 Days guide. We found no paper weight for this notebook; the 52 g/m² figure in our other guide belongs to the 365 Days.
What are the hour marks and dates?
The hour column runs 7 to 23 on the B6, 8 to 21 on the A6 and 0 to 24 on the A5. Stalogy gives those timelines in its Editor’s Series description, written for the 365 Days, and Yoseka’s listing confirms 7 to 23 for the B6 1/2 Year.
Nothing is pre-dated, so you write the date or start on any day, as with the 365 Days. Our Hobonichi Techo Original guide covers a pre-dated page-a-day book.
How does it compare with the 365 Days?
Same layout, half the pages and a lower price. Stalogy gives these figures on its page.
Stalogy’s page says the 365 Days won a design prize at the 23rd Japan Stationery Awards. It doesn’t claim the award for the 1/2 Year.
What colors does it come in?
Stalogy’s table lists four A5 colors (black, red, blue, yellow) and black only for the A6 and B6. Yoseka sells the B6 in red, blue and yellow, which Stalogy’s table doesn’t show for that size.
We can’t settle this conflict. Yoseka’s blue B6 carries the code S4125, which isn’t in Stalogy’s current lineup, so it may be older or Yoseka-specific stock. Yoseka’s text describes a flexible cover with gold detailing on the left side, and its photos show a yellow belly band around the red, blue and yellow B6 books.
How much does it cost?
¥1,705 (about US$11) for the A6 to ¥2,123 (about US$13) for the A5 in Japan, with tax. Yoseka listed the B6 at US$18 on November 2, 2026, which falls in our $$ band ($5–20) and is about US$5 over the Japanese price.
Who is the Stalogy 1/2 Year Notebook for?
It suits people who like the 365 Days layout but fill a book in six months. At 192 pages it is the lighter, cheaper option in the Editor’s Series.
Skip it if you want a full year in one book: see the 365 Days, or the Stalogy 016 for softer paper covers and thicker paper.
Where is it made?
Stalogy doesn’t say for this notebook. Its page and Yoseka’s give no country, so we leave the origin as not stated.
