The ornament next to last year's clear one and the real pen, to scale.
The real Kaweco Sport is 10.5 cm (4.1 in) long closed, by Kaweco’s description, so the ornament is a scaled-up version, not a life-size copy.
What earlier Kaweco ornaments were there?
A clear glass pen and a Bordeaux glass ink bottle, plus a gold pen. Kaweco’s German shop lists four DECO glass pieces: fountain pens in Transparent, Gold and Lila, and an ink bottle in Bordeaux.
Goulet listed the clear glass pen in November 2024, measuring it at 191.0 × 31.0 mm (7.5 × 1.2 in) with gold accents. It added the Bordeaux ink bottle, 96.7 mm (3.8 in) tall, in December 2025. Kaweco doesn’t give release years, so collectors date them by when shops listed them.
How much is it, and where can you buy it in the US?
US pen shops sell it in our $$$ band, $20–75. Kaweco’s German shop lists it at €29.95 (about US$34) including German VAT.
On October 22, 2026, Kaweco’s own shop said it had temporarily stopped taking orders to the USA because of high import and customs costs, and pointed buyers to US retailers. We found it at Goulet, Dromgoole’s, Goldspot and Pen Boutique; Dromgoole’s calls it a limited edition.
When should you order it?
Soon, if you want it on the tree in December. Kaweco has brought out a new piece in each of the last three years, and shops treat it as a seasonal item rather than a permanent one.

Is it a good gift?
For a Kaweco fan, yes: it’s an official Kaweco piece they can’t use up. It costs less than most fountain pens, needs no ink, and comes out every December.
Kaweco doesn’t say. Its German product page lists the material, colour, length and weight but no country of manufacture, and the US and UK retailers we checked don’t give one.
Kaweco itself is a German brand, based in Nuremberg; its pens’ origin is covered in our Kaweco history.
