What are KOKUYO Campus roll sticky notes?
They are sticky notes on a roll: a 15 mm wide tape of sticky-note paper in a small case, which you tear to any length and write on. KOKUYO’s full name is キャンパス スキマに書き足すロールふせん, “Campus roll sticky notes for adding writing in the gaps”.
The idea is to add a correction, a summary or a reminder into a textbook, a printout or your notes without covering what is already there. KOKUYO sells it for memo-ben, its name for a study method of jotting quick notes into gaps and reviewing them later.
All figures are from KOKUYO’s Japanese and English product pages, read October 23, 2026. KOKUYO doesn’t publish the case’s dimensions.
How do you use it?
Pull out the tape, tear off the length you need, write on it and press it into a gap. At 15 mm wide, a strip covers about two lines of a notebook ruled at 7 mm.
One 3 cm piece to scale at 1 mm = 3 px, and the roughly 80 pieces in a roll.
Because the whole back is sticky, KOKUYO says the notes don’t peel off easily, which matters in a book you open and close all day. We haven’t yet tested how cleanly they come off again, so try one on a page you care about first.
How do refills work?
When the roll runs out, you open the case and drop in a refill roll of the same colour: ME-R15B for blue, ME-R15Y for yellow. KOKUYO marks the case as a refillable product and asks you to use the matching refill code.
The product carries KOKUYO’s SUTENAI CIRCLE mark, the company’s label for products designed to keep resources in use, and KOKUYO notes that the plastic can be recycled after use under local sorting rules.
In our view, pick blue or yellow by how you colour-code: yellow reads as a highlight against white paper, while blue is quieter on a printed page.
How does it compare with other sticky notes?
It sits between a sticky note and a label: cut to length, sticky all over, and narrow enough for the space between lines.
The Post-it and Coco-Fusen details come from their guides.
Can you buy it outside Japan?
We found no US listing on October 23, 2026: it sells through Japanese retailers such as Maruzen Junkudo and Yodobashi. Use a proxy or forwarding service, and buy a refill at the same time.
Its Japanese price, ¥610 (about US$3.90) before tax, puts it in our $ band (under $5) before shipping.
Where are KOKUYO roll sticky notes made?
