Which designs are in the set?
Ten Tokyo scenes and symbols. The maker names a beckoning cat said to come from the culture of Edo merchants, a sumo wrestler from the Edo period, Edo-style sushi, Tokyo ramen and a cream soda, “and more”.
The maker’s photos show others: a pair of swan boats under “Have a nice trip! in Tokyo”, cherry blossoms, a gold-foil taiyaki, Tokyo Tower above rooftops, and a big Tokyo lettering sticker. We couldn’t match every one of the ten to a name, and we don’t know the size of any single sticker.
What do you do with them?
Use them to customize a TRAVELER’S notebook, or other tools you take around Tokyo. That is the maker’s own suggestion. The stickers are paper, so we’d keep them on covers and pages rather than on anything that gets wet; we haven’t tested how they hold up.
How is it different from the Customized Sticker Set?
It is decoration, while the yearly Customized Sticker Set is mostly function.
| Sticker Set TOKYO | Customized Sticker Set | |
|---|---|---|
| Contents | 10 illustrated paper stickers | 6 sheets: index, pocket, icon and cover stickers |
| Timing | One edition, April 2024 | Yearly, with the diaries |
