Yuru Log stickers are small washi-paper stickers from Midori, sold to decorate Designphil’s Yuru Log journal. Yuru Log (“relaxed log”) is a notebook series for light, everyday record-keeping, and the stickers fill the gaps between short entries: animals, cats, flowers, textile motifs and small decorations.

Midori’s 2-sheet writable packs pair a sheet of large stickers to write on with a sheet of small ones for margins. Other Japanese designs include Motif and Feelings (1 sheet) and Forest Animals, Cat, Nordic, Watercolor and Travel and Hotel (2 sheets); not all reach US shops.
Can you write on Yuru Log stickers?
Yes on the writable versions, which Midori gives a special surface coating so water-based pens can write on the washi. That group includes water-based pigment fineliners such as the Sakura Pigma Micron, and Midori also suggests stamping its Paintable Stamps on them.
The 1-sheet Animals, Motif and Feelings packs are sold as decoration, without that claim. Midori also warns that ink or toner can get onto the adhesive side, so test first.
Are Yuru Log stickers removable, and are they safe on thin paper?
Yes: Midori uses a re-peelable adhesive, so the stickers can be lifted and moved. Midori suggests moving them after a page is written to rebalance the layout, and says to peel slowly because the material is very thin.
Washi stickers are thin, which suits lightweight planner paper such as the Tomoe River paper in the Hobonichi Techo Original. We haven’t tested how cleanly they lift from it, so peel slowly and try a back page first.

Yuru Log stickers are small, removable decorations, while US sticker books such as Happy Planner value packs are mostly functional, sized for one planner.
