What is the bande Cat Sandwich roll sticker?
It is a roll of 120 die-cut cat stickers that look like washi tape on the roll but peel off one sticker at a time. bande, a brand of Nishikawa Communications in Aichi, Japan, sells it as Yuru Neko Sand (ゆるねこサンド, model BDA740); JetPens calls it the Bande Washi Tape Sticker Roll - Cat Sandwich.
There is no backing sheet. Each sticker is laid slightly over the next on the roll, so you lift the top one, stick it down, and the next design is ready.
The cats are by the illustrator mojomojo, drawn in loose black line with grey and black patches.
How big are the stickers, and how many are there?
bande lists 120 stickers per roll, 18 mm (0.7 in) tall and 13 to 16.5 mm (0.5 to 0.65 in) wide, in 18 designs.

How do you use a “sandwich” roll?
Stick a head, write or tape something, then add the matching feet below it. bande says the heads and feet come out in order, and suggests writing a line between them, sandwiching a favorite washi tape, or sticking two heads back to back as a notebook index tab.
One cat on its own also works as an accent in a planner or a letter. Because the stickers are thin, they lie flat in a Hobonichi Weeks or a pocket notebook.
Can you write on bande stickers?
This roll is decorative; bande sells separate “writable” rolls for writing on the sticker itself. Its Kakeru (書ける) roll stickers, such as Yuru Neko Memo, have open space inside the design.
On Cat Sandwich you write on the page between head and feet instead. We haven’t tested pens on its surface yet.
How does it compare to other planner stickers?
It is the roll-format option: one design at a time, no sheet to store.

Which bande cat roll should you buy?
Choose Cat Sandwich to frame notes, and the Cats set of 2 if you want more stickers plus a matching tape. JetPens lists the Cats set (BDA703) as one 150-sticker roll in 11 designs with an 11 mm × 5 m washi tape.
On bande’s own shop, other cat rolls in October 2026 included a writable running-cat roll (駆けるねこ) and the dress-up Kalo cat sets.
Where is the bande Cat Sandwich made?
bande doesn’t state the country of manufacture on its product page. The brand belongs to Nishikawa Communications, a company based in Togo, Aichi, Japan, which holds the BANDE trademark in the US.
Frequently asked questions
How do you use bande roll stickers?
Pull the end of the roll and peel off the top sticker; each one lifts off the layer below because there is no backing sheet. Stick it down like washi tape.
How many stickers are on a bande Cat Sandwich roll?
120, according to bande, in 18 designs: cat heads and matching feet that come off in turn.
Can you write between the cat head and feet?
Yes, that is the point of the Sand (sandwich) series: bande suggests writing a line or a word between head and feet, or sandwiching a strip of washi tape.
Are bande stickers removable?
They are washi-tape-type stickers, which are usually repositionable on paper, but bande doesn't make a removability claim for this roll. Test on your planner paper first.
Who draws the bande Yuru Neko cats?
The illustrator mojomojo, who also drew bande's earlier Yuru Neko Sanpo roll; bande lists Yuru Neko Sand as the second roll in the series.
Is the bande Cats set the same as Cat Sandwich?
No. JetPens sells a separate Cats set of 2 (BDA703) with one 150-sticker roll in 11 designs plus an 11 mm × 5 m washi tape; Cat Sandwich (BDA740) is a single 120-sticker roll.
Where can I buy bande stickers in the US?
JetPens carries many bande rolls, including Cat Sandwich; bande's own online shop sells within Japan.
