There is no backing sheet. Each sticker is laid slightly over the next on the roll, so you lift the top one, stick it down, and the next design is ready. The cats are by the illustrator mojomojo, drawn in loose black line with grey and black patches. ## How big are the stickers, and how many are there? **bande lists 120 stickers per roll, 18 mm (0.7 in) tall and 13 to 16.5 mm (0.5 to 0.65 in) wide, in 18 designs.** | Spec | Value | |---|---| | Maker | Nishikawa Communications Co., Ltd. One cat on its own also works as an accent in a planner or a letter. Because the stickers are thin, they lie flat in a [Hobonichi Weeks](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/hobonichi-weeks/) or a pocket notebook. ## Can you write on bande stickers? **This roll is decorative; bande sells separate "writable" rolls for writing on the sticker itself.** Its Kakeru (書ける) roll stickers, such as Yuru Neko Memo, have open space inside the design. On Cat Sandwich you write on the page between head and feet instead. We haven't tested pens on its surface yet. ## How does it compare to other planner stickers? **It is the roll-format option: one design at a time, no sheet to store.** | | bande Cat Sandwich | [mt washi tape](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/mt-washi-tape/) | [BGM Ippai flake stickers](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/bgm-ippai-flake-stickers/) | |---|---|---|---| | Format | Roll of die-cut stickers | Continuous tape | Loose flakes in a pack | | Count | 120 stickers | 7 m of tape | 45 flakes | | Backing | None | None | None | | Price band | $$ | $ | $$ | For more ideas, see our [best journaling stickers and washi tape](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/best-journaling-stickers-and-washi-tape/). ## Which bande cat roll should you buy? **Choose Cat Sandwich to frame notes, and the Cats set of 2 if you want more stickers plus a matching tape.** JetPens lists the Cats set (BDA703) as one 150-sticker roll in 11 designs with an 11 mm × 5 m washi tape. On bande's own shop, other cat rolls in October 2026 included a writable running-cat roll (駆けるねこ) and the dress-up Kalo cat sets. ## Where is the bande Cat Sandwich made? **bande doesn't state the country of manufacture on its product page.** The brand belongs to Nishikawa Communications, a company based in Togo, Aichi, Japan, which holds the BANDE trademark in the US. ## Frequently asked questions ### How do you use bande roll stickers?
