Notes on these facts
- Country of manufacture not stated: Neither Yoseka's nor bungu.store's listings say where Hoshiyomi is made, and BGM's own site (bgm.co.jp) could not be reached from our servers, so we don't state an origin. Retailers that do state one list other BGM flake lines as made in China. Price: example listing.
- Colors: names per Yoseka Stationery product photos, checked November 3, 2026. Each swatch is the pack card color, sampled from Yoseka's product photos and approximate. The flakes inside carry their own artwork and foil. Tints are representative, not measured. Shops stock different colors.
- How we test and disclose samples: How we test stationery.
- Price bands are typical US retail, checked October 2026. Conversions to US dollars are approximate, at October 2026 rates (US$1 = ¥158 = ₩1,330 = NT$32.5 = CN¥6.7 = SEK 9.9 = DKK 6.7 = ₺49.6 = C$1.41 = A$1.43 = CZK 21.7; €1 = US$1.12; £1 = US$1.32; CHF 1 = US$1.21).

- BGM's own site could not be reached and no shop states an origin, so we don't say where Hoshiyomi is made.
What are BGM Hoshiyomi flake stickers?
They are packs of 45 loose, die-cut paper stickers (“flakes”) from BGM, each pack themed on three zodiac constellations and finished with foil. Flake stickers come already cut out, so you take one from the bag and place it; there is no sheet to peel from.
Yoseka says the line is “inspired by the 12 constellations” and features constellation girls and celestial motifs; bungu.store describes constellation girl characters beside classic astrology motifs, with the foil giving “a subtle shimmer against the matte washi base”. BGM is a Japanese brand based in Tokyo, per the Swedish retailer Tidformera. We could not read BGM’s own site, so everything below comes from retailers.

Which zodiac signs are in each pack?
Each pack covers three signs, and the four packs together cover all twelve. Yoseka lists them as separate products, one per card color:
| Pack | Signs | Yoseka model |
|---|---|---|
| Orange card | Taurus, Gemini, Cancer | BS-FG189 |
| Teal card | Leo, Virgo, Libra | BS-FG190 |
| Light blue card | Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn | BS-FG191 |
| Purple card | Aquarius, Pisces, Aries | BS-FG192 |
bungu.store lists three of these (Taurus, Gemini and Cancer; Leo, Virgo and Libra; Aquarius, Pisces and Aries) and does not show the Scorpio pack, so Yoseka is the place to find all four. Card colors are from Yoseka’s photos; we have not seen the flakes up close.
What is in the 45 flakes?
Fifteen designs, three copies each, according to Yoseka. The three signs on a pack set its theme, so a pack mixes the constellation girls with star patterns and other celestial motifs rather than giving each sign a separate sheet. Neither shop lists each design, and the packs sit in a window, so the exact mix is easiest to judge from the listing photos.
Three copies of every design means one pack can decorate a three-page spread with a repeating motif, or be shared across a planner.
Who is the Hoshiyomi pack for?
It suits people who like zodiac and constellation themes in a journal and want loose flakes rather than a sheet. The pack names three signs, so a birthday or a friend’s sign is easy to match to a pack.
Skip it if you want to write on the stickers: neither shop says the flakes are meant for writing, and this is a decorative line. For write-in flakes, see the BGM Hana-Biyori memo stickers.
How do Hoshiyomi flakes compare with other BGM flakes?
A Hoshiyomi pack has the same 45-flake count as an IPPAI pack and a zodiac theme instead of an animal or food one.
| Line | Flakes per pack | Finish | Yoseka or Japan price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hoshiyomi (this guide) | 45 (15 × 3) | Foil stamping, Japanese paper | US$4.50 at Yoseka; ¥800 (about US$5.10) |
| IPPAI | 45 (15 × 3) | Gold foil, washi | ¥800 (about US$5.10) |
| Hana-Biyori memo | 30 (10 × 3) | Washi, writable | US$5.00 at Yoseka |
For raised sticker sheets from the same brand, see the BGM Icing Sticker Sheets.
Where are BGM Hoshiyomi stickers made?
We don’t know. Neither Yoseka nor bungu.store states an origin, and BGM’s own site could not be read. BGM is a Japanese brand, but retailers list some of its other flake lines as made in China, so brand origin and place of manufacture shouldn’t be assumed to match.
