What is the MARK’S storage.it A6 Desk notebook?
It is a landscape dotted notebook in MARK’S Inc.’s storage.it range, with a clear PVC cover and a zip pocket. Makkura says the horizontal format is meant for tight spaces and the area in front of a keyboard. It is the notebook sibling of the A6 weekly vertical planner and the A5 dotted and lined notebook.
How big is it, and how heavy?
107 × 165 × 8 mm outside, with a 100 × 144 mm page block, and about 106 g. Both figures are Makkura’s; Tidformera lists the format as 14.4 × 10 cm, which matches the page block.
What paper and ruling does it have?
128 pages of FSC-certified Neo Agenda paper with a 5 mm dot grid. Makkura calls the paper thinner and lighter than standard paper. Tidformera says it is smooth and a joy to write on but gives no gsm, so we don’t state one. We haven’t tested it with fountain pens; for notebooks that suit them see our best notebooks for fountain pens.
How does the zip pocket work?
A plastic zipper on one short side opens a pocket across the whole cover. Tidformera says the front and back can both store flat items such as receipts, business cards and stickers, but that things at the very back can be tricky to remove. The cover is translucent, non-phthalate PVC; Tidformera says the binder is 90% recycled PVC.
Can you refill it?
Yes, with a wire-bound dotted insert. Tidformera sells the A6 Desk refill separately, 128 pages at 14.4 × 10 cm, Made in Japan. We have not confirmed whether the refill fits other storage.it covers; the A5 uses a different insert in our A5 guide.
What colors and price?
Tidformera lists ten covers: Black, Craft, Mint, Navy, Purple, Salmon Pink, Blue, Holographic, Green and Neo Citron. We have not sampled them, so we show no swatches. Makkura listed the black at €13.90 (about US$16) and Tidformera at SEK 159 (about US$16) on October 31, 2026, our $$ band ($5–20). The refill was SEK 89 (about US$9).
How does it compare with the other storage.it formats?
It is the only landscape format and the cheapest of the three. The table uses the retailer figures above.
| A6 weekly vertical planner | A6 Desk notebook | A5 notebook | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orientation | Portrait | Landscape | Portrait |
| Outside size | 4.5 × 6.0 in (about 114 × 152 mm) | 107 × 165 × 8 mm | 16.5 × 21.7 cm |
| Pages | 224, dated Sep 2026 to Dec 2027 | 128, 5 mm dots | 128, dotted left and lined right |
| Retailer price on Oct 31, 2026 | €19.50 (about US$22) | €13.90 (about US$16) | SEK 198 (about US$20) |
| Refill | Not confirmed | Dotted insert, SEK 89 (about US$9) | Insert, SEK 89 (about US$9) |
Pick the Desk if you want a notebook that sits beside a keyboard. If you would rather have a portrait page and a lined side for lists, the A5 is the other option; if you want dated weeks, see the planner.
What do the retailer pages not say?
They give no gsm, no binding durability data and no MARK’S statement on this item. We read only retailer pages and MARK’S brand page, and Makkura’s barcode differs from Tidformera’s for the black, so we list no GTIN. We haven’t tested it hands-on.
Where is it made?
Both retailers say Japan. MARK’S pages we could read don’t name a country, so we mark the origin as a retailer statement.
