What is the isshoni. Point Stamp?
It is a small self-inking stamp for the words you write over and over in a planner or notebook. Daigo’s October 15, 2026 release says the Point Stamp lets you stamp repeated content into notebooks and diaries easily, and describes two shapes, Flat and Stick.
It belongs to Daigo’s isshoni. line for office workers, which our DAIGO story covers. You stamp “to do” or “check” instead of writing it out.
What are the Flat and Stick types?
The Flat is a 30 mm square that slips into a pencil case; the Stick is a pen-sized bar. The figures below are Daigo’s release, with materials from bungu.store.
| Flat | Stick | |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 30 × 30 × 13 mm (1.2 × 1.2 × 0.5 in) | 86 × 19 × 16 mm (3.4 × 0.7 × 0.6 in) |
| Prints | About 300 | About 1,000 |
| Type | Disposable | Disposable |
| Daigo list price | ¥990 (about US$6.30) with tax | ¥880 (about US$5.60) with tax |
| Designs | 12 | 8 types, four stamps per stick |
| Materials | Acrylic body, ABS holder, urethane face | ABS body, PE stamp face |
| Ink | Oil-based pigment | Oil-based pigment |
Yoseka lists the Flat’s image area as 1.1 × 1.1 cm (0.4 × 0.4 in).
Which designs are there?
Twelve Flat designs and eight Stick types. Daigo’s release says six Flat and four Stick items are new additions, on sale from November 2026, but it doesn’t say which. The shops we checked list only the first six Flat designs and four Stick types, so we assume the rest are the new ones.
How long does one last?
About 300 prints for a Flat and about 1,000 for a Stick, then you replace it. Both are disposable, so there is no refill ink; the EL COMMUN Deco Loop Stamp is a roller stamp that is also pre-inked and not refillable.
If you stamp one entry a day, a Flat lasts roughly ten months and a Stick about two and a half years, by our arithmetic. Daigo gives no figure for fading, so use it fresh.
Which should you choose, the Flat or the Stick?
In our view, the Flat for one favorite word and the Stick for a set. A Flat carries one design and slips into a pencil case; a Stick holds four stamps in one bar, per bungu.store, so it covers four routine words in less space.
On Daigo’s figures, a Flat gives about 300 prints for ¥990 (about US$6.30), while a Stick gives about 4,000 in total (1,000 per stamp, four stamps) for ¥880 (about US$5.60). If you stamp often, the Stick is far cheaper per print.
What would you stamp with it?
Daigo’s design names suggest daily planning marks. Flat designs include todo, date, check, contents, title, time, habit tracker and rating; Stick types include on&off, business, task, weather, feeling and status.
The Stick’s types look like diary headings: weather, feeling and one day. Oggi, a Japanese magazine for working women, picked the Stick for a shopping feature.
What ink and paper does it suit?
Oil-based pigment ink, which Yoseka and bungu.store name for the Flat. Oil-based ink can show through or dry slowly on thin paper, which is a risk with any such stamp; we haven’t tested this one.
Midori’s Paintable Stamp Habit Tracker uses oil-based pigment ink too, and Midori warns about slow drying on some papers.
How much does it cost and where can you buy it?
Yoseka listed the Flat at US$9.50 on October 28, 2026, in our $$ band ($5–20). We found no US listing of the Stick at Yoseka, The Journal Shop or Jenni Bick that day.
bungu.store, a Japan-based shop, listed the Flat at ¥1,800 (about US$11) and the Stick at ¥1,600 (about US$10). Daigo’s own prices are lower, at ¥990 (about US$6.30) and ¥880 (about US$5.60) with tax. For another stamp that prints a planner word, see the Kodomo no Kao Pochitto Pick stamp.
For small self-inked stamps by Japanese artists, see the Sanby eric absorbent stamps and the Sanby ob1 acrylic stand stamps. For a pad-inked decorative stamp with a see-through handle, see King Jim Kori Jirushi.
Frequently asked questions
Can you re-ink the isshoni. Point Stamp?
No. Daigo and bungu.store call it a disposable type, so you replace it after about 300 prints (Flat) or about 1,000 (Stick).
Do you need an ink pad?
No. bungu.store describes both types as self-inking with no pad, and Yoseka calls the Flat a compact self-inking stamp.
What ink does it use?
Oil-based pigment ink, per Yoseka and bungu.store. Daigo's release doesn't name the ink.
How many designs are there?
Twelve Flat designs and eight Stick types. Daigo lists the Flat as todo, date, check, contents, title, time, habit tracker, rating, comment, thank you, don't forget and good job.
What are the Stick types?
On&off, business, task, weather, feeling, status, time and one day. bungu.store says each stick holds four stamps.
Is the Point Stamp the same as a Midori Paintable Stamp?
No. Midori's Paintable Stamp Habit Tracker is a 61 mm square, about 1,000-print stamp that prints a month grid; the Point Stamp prints one small word or symbol, 11 mm across on the Flat.
Are all the designs sold in the US?
Not that we found. Yoseka listed six Flat designs (To Do, Date, Check, Contents, Title, Time) on October 28, 2026; the other six are Daigo's November 2026 additions.
