Warm and woody, by Caran d’Ache’s description. It lists cedar, sandalwood and patchouli, spicy clove and a touch of incense, in the woody fragrance family.
Caran d’Ache says the fragrance meets FEMA GRAS and IFRA standards and is non-toxic to humans. The scent is in the varnish, so it sits on the outside of the pencil rather than in the lead.
