How does the guide sheet work?
You slide the ruled guide sheet under the blank top sheet, and its lines show through to write on. When you’re done, the letter has no printed lines, which is how blank writing paper is meant to be used.

What is it like to write on?
Goulet’s customer reviews call it fountain pen friendly with a pleasant, not-too-toothy texture. One reviewer says ink dries quickly; another found it thinner than expected but wonderful to write on.
Because cotton absorbs more than a coated sheet, quick drying comes with a trade-off: very wet nibs may spread a line a touch wider than on Triomphe. One Goulet reviewer prefers it to both Triomphe and G. Lalo for correspondence.

Goulet’s listing puts the A5 tablet in our $$ band ($5–20). In the UK, Pen Heaven listed it at £12.00 (about US$16), and in Germany Manufactum sold the A5 cotton pad at €19.90 (about US$22), both on October 22, 2026.
Matching Pure Cotton envelopes are sold separately in packs of 25, and Goulet also carries an A4 tablet and flat cards in the same paper.
