Zebra Japan says about 60% of Sarasa Grand users write in planners or notebooks, and that they found the original too heavy. So the 2024 model changed materials to cut about 5 g, lowered the center of gravity, added a 0.3 mm size and moved to a metal version of the Sarasa Clip's binder clip.
