**It's a refillable tape runner: a small applicator that rolls a dry strip of permanent glue onto paper from a roller tip.** Tombow USA sells it as item 62106 and markets it for card making, scrapbooking and junk journaling.

Because the glue is a dry film on a carrier tape, there's no drying time and no wet paper. ## How much does one refill cover?

**About 24 card fronts with tape round every edge, by our arithmetic.** An A2 card is 4.25 × 5.5 in, so taping all four edges uses 19.5 in, and 472 in ÷ 19.5 in is about 24.

Many layouts use only a few short strips per piece instead of a full border, so a refill goes further than that. In a journal, a 4 in ticket held by two 4 in strips uses 8 in, so one refill would fix about 59 of them.

**Not under this name, in the sources we found.** Tombow's Japanese site sells its tape runners under the PiT name, and we found no MONO Adhesive Permanent, 62106 or 62107 on it.

Its closest refillable runner, the ピットテープM (PiT Tape M), lists at ¥484 (about US$3.10) with tax and uses 8.4 mm × 16 m cartridges (PR-MS8.4) at ¥363 (about US$2.30), longer than the 12 m in a 62107 refill, so the two cartridges don't appear to be the same item. Tombow Japan also offers a 12 mm × 11 m wide cartridge (PR-MS12) and says the body uses at least 70% recycled plastic. If you buy tape in Japan, check that the cartridge code matches your runner.
