## What is a Recollections planner sticker book?

**It is a budget book of planner sticker sheets sold under Recollections, the Michaels craft-store brand.** Each book follows one theme or job, such as Calendar (dates and month stickers), Say Chic, Wellness or Bright, and mixes functional labels with decorative stickers.

Michaels sells the books in its stores and on michaels.com, and some are listed as in-store only. Michaels also sells Recollections books in 12-packs through Walmart's marketplace.

All figures come from Michaels' US and Canadian product pages. By October 2026 the three Canadian pages had been taken down, and michaels.com blocks automated readers, so we couldn't recheck the US figures; check the book in store. A 5 × 9 in sheet is about 127 × 229 mm; Michaels doesn't publish the thickness of the books.

*Recollections' 5 × 9 in sheets are close to a Happy Planner Classic sheet.*

## Which Recollections book should you buy?

**Buy the Calendar book for dates and months, a themed book such as Say Chic or Wellness for decoration, and Creative Year Basics for headers and labels.**

The Calendar book's 2,234 stickers is the highest count we found, because date numbers are small. Creative Year Basics uses taller 4.5 × 11.75 in sheets for labels, headers and icons, aimed at journals as well as planners.

## Do Recollections stickers fit a Happy Planner or Erin Condren planner?

**Mostly yes, because the 5 × 9 in sheets are about the size of a Happy Planner Classic sheet and most stickers are generic.** A Happy Planner Classic value-pack sheet is 4.75 × 9 in, per retailers. Michaels doesn't say which planner layout the stickers are cut for, so measure a daily box before using full-box stickers.

For stickers sized to one planner, the brand packs are the safer choice: [Happy Planner value packs](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/happy-planner-value-pack-stickers/) are cut for the Classic layout, and [Erin Condren sticker books](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/erin-condren-sticker-book/) come from the LifePlanner's maker. A [Blue Sky sticker book](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/blue-sky-sticker-book/) is the closest match in count, with up to 2,200+ stickers on 24 sheets of 4.49 × 9.06 in.

## Are Recollections stickers paper or plastic?

**Michaels lists the Calendar, Say Chic and Wellness books as paper and PVC.** The PVC stickers are plastic, which can be harder to write on with water-based ink than paper.

Michaels doesn't describe the adhesive or say whether the stickers are removable. On thin paper, such as the Tomoe River paper in a [Hobonichi Techo Original](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/hobonichi-techo-original/), test one on a back page first.

## Are Recollections sticker books good value?

**On count per dollar, yes: at the low end of our $5–20 band, the Calendar book's 2,234 stickers work out to roughly 400 or more per dollar.** A Happy Planner Classic value pack holds about 500 to 1,400 stickers, and an Erin Condren book 254 to 624 with more metallic foil. The trade-off is fit: Recollections books aren't sized to one planner.

## Where are Recollections sticker books made?

**Michaels doesn't state the country of manufacture on the listings we found.** Recollections is a Michaels store brand, so the brand is American, but where each book is printed isn't published. Check the back of the book in store.
