Two pack themes on Papier Platz's page, named in Japanese; the names here are our translations. Each pack holds 6 pastel designs. The tints are the main shade of each pack's notes in the maker's product photo. Shops stock different colors; check the listing. ## Key takeaways - Each pack holds 30 sheets: 6 designs with 5 sheets of each, in a package of 90 × 115 mm (3.5 × 4.5 in). - Papier Platz says the whole back is adhesive, the adhesive is weak, and the paper is fine paper. - The maker says water-based pens, oil-based pens and pencils can write on the notes; it does not mention fountain pens. - Two themes are listed: Bear Cafe (item 60-031) and Rabbit Strawberry Sweets (item 60-032), from Papier Platz's own design. - Papier Platz's shop listed a pack at ¥528 (about US$3.30) on November 4, 2026, in our $ band (under $5); no country of manufacture is stated. ## What are Papier Platz Flake Sticky Notes? **They are sticky notes cut to the outline of a picture, such as a pudding dish, a pancake stack or a strawberry cake.** Papier Platz, a stationery brand from Saitama, Japan, designs them itself instead of with a guest artist. It says they suit small memos and decorating a diary. The notes are full-adhesive, which means the whole back is sticky, not just a strip. We read the maker's shop page and catalog on November 4, 2026. For another die-cut set, see our [Furukawashiko Watashi Biyori sticky notes](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/furukawashiko-watashi-biyori-die-cut-sticky-notes/) guide. ## What size and how many sheets? **A 90 × 115 mm pack of 30 sheets.** Papier Platz lists the package size, not the size of a single note. | Spec | Papier Platz says | |---|---| | Package size | 90 × 115 mm (3.5 × 4.5 in) | | Sheets | 30: 6 designs, 5 sheets each | | Paper | Fine paper | | Adhesive | Weak, whole back | | Writing | Water-based pens, oil-based pens, pencils | | Price | ¥528 (about US$3.30) on November 4, 2026 | | Price band ($ is under $5) | $ | Because the notes are die-cut, each design has its own outline and writing space. At 5 sheets per design, a pack goes quickly if you use only one favorite shape. ![A grid of 6 designs by 5 sheets showing the 30 sheets in one Papier Platz Flake Sticky Notes pack](https://stationerytimes.com/images/papier-platz-flake-sticky-notes-pack-contents.svg?v=e862ab8f) *One pack: 6 designs of 5 sheets each; colors are representative. Because the adhesive covers the whole back, the note lies flat on a page, which is the point for planner decoration. We haven't tested residue, how many times a note re-sticks or how it behaves on glossy paper. ## What designs does it come in? **Two packs: Bear Cafe and Rabbit Strawberry Sweets.** The maker's names are Japanese; these are our translations of the item names (60-031 and 60-032). Bear Cafe shows café sweets in warm yellow, cream and green with small bears. Rabbit Strawberry Sweets shows strawberry desserts in pink and cream with small rabbits. We took each tint from the maker's photo. The notes in a pack share a theme but have different outlines. ## Who are the Flake Sticky Notes for? **They suit people who decorate a diary or planner with small notes, because a 30-sheet pack of die-cut, weakly adhesive notes costs ¥528 (about US$3.30).** - **Journaling and planning:** 30 sheets in 6 shapes, with a full-adhesive back that stays flat. Skip them if you want a plain pad of square notes: these are die-cut shapes, 5 per design, and the maker gives no size for a single note. We haven't tested the paper or the adhesive. ## Who makes Papier Platz? **Papier Platz is a Japanese stationery brand run by Cres Co., Ltd. in Saitama.** Its pages say the name means "paper square" in German and was chosen by a founder who loved Germany, the birthplace of printing. Most of its range comes from collaborations with illustrators and stamp artists, but this pack is its own design. It sells through stationery and variety shops in Japan, its own BASE and STORES shops and events. We list its other products in our other Papier Platz guides. ## Which pack should you choose? **Pick the theme you like; the specs are the same.** Both packs hold 30 sheets of 6 designs and cost the same on the maker's shop. Bear Cafe leans on warm yellows and greens; Rabbit Strawberry Sweets on pink and cream. If you mostly write short reminders, one pack gives you 5 sheets of each shape. If you decorate pages, the six outlines give more variety than a single-shape pad. ## Where are they made, and what do they cost? **Not stated.** The product page gives no country of manufacture. Papier Platz's own BASE shop listed a pack at ¥528 (about US$3.30) on November 4, 2026, in our $ band (under $5). The page shows an "International shipping available" label; we did not check delivery costs or availability. For other picks, see [best sticky notes](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/best-sticky-notes/). ## Frequently asked questions ### How many sheets are in a pack? Thirty. Papier Platz lists 6 designs with 5 sheets of each in every pack. ### Are Flake Sticky Notes sticky across the whole back? Yes. Papier Platz describes them as full-adhesive notes that stick flat, and lists the adhesive as weak, so they should lift off more easily than a strong one. We haven't tested how many times a note re-sticks. ### What can you write on them with? Papier Platz says water-based pens, oil-based pens and pencils all work. It does not mention fountain pens or markers, so test a corner of the last sheet first. ### How big is each note? Not stated. Papier Platz gives only the package size, 90 × 115 mm, and the notes are die-cut shapes that differ by design. ### Why are they called flake notes? Papier Platz uses the word flake for small loose pieces in its sticker line, and uses it for these die-cut notes too. It does not define the term on the product page. ### What is the paper? Fine paper, as listed. The maker gives no gsm, no finish and no brightness. ### Are they made in Japan? Not stated. Papier Platz is run from Saitama, Japan, but its product page gives no country of manufacture. ### How do they differ from Papier Platz's mini sticky notes? The mini notes are a separate item in the same release, listed at ¥660 (about US$4.20) on the maker's shop. This guide covers only the 30-sheet flake pack. ## Sources - [Papier Platz BASE shop: Papier Flake Sticky Notes (pack size, 30 sheets, 6 designs, paper, adhesive, pens, designs, price; read November 4, 2026)](https://papierplatz.thebase.in/items/156295932) - [Papier Platz: catalog list (Papier original flake and mini sticky notes released September 17, 2026; read November 4, 2026)](https://www.papier-platz.jp/catalog) - [Papier Platz: brand page (concept, name origin, lineup, operator; read November 4, 2026)](https://www.papier-platz.jp/) - [Papier Platz BASE shop: About (operator and collaborations; read November 4, 2026)](https://papierplatz.thebase.in/about)
