Mountain of Ink, which reviewed a grey Magnum Opus 6 Slots that Galen sent in August 2022, found it sturdy and roomy enough for its largest pens. It liked that the inner tray comes out for easier access. ## What are the downsides? **It's bulky for six pens, and it costs more than many soft cases.** At 3.5 cm (1.4 in) thick and 240 g empty, it's no pocket case, and at Galen's US price it sits in our over-$75 band. The magnetic version has no zip, so it relies on the magnet to stay shut in a bag.
