It's #1 because it lasts a year as a weekly, starts with goal pages, and leads the five on Amazon ratings. - **Best overall:** [Legend Planner](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/legend-planner-undated-weekly/). *Why it's here:* a year in one A5 hardcover, 13 monthly calendars and 56 weekly spreads after the goal pages, with the most Amazon ratings of the five (25,314 on October 22, 2026). - **Daily routine:** [Panda Planner Classic](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/panda-planner-classic/). *Why it's here:* undated daily pages that open with a morning review (gratitude, things to look forward to, an affirmation), and the second-most Amazon ratings here. - **One big task a day:** [Intelligent Change Productivity Planner](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/intelligent-change-productivity-planner/). *Why it's here:* the only pick built around one Most Important Task a day, a two-page spread per day across 256 pages and 90 days. - **More room:** [Clever Fox Planner PRO](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/clever-fox-planner-pro/). *Why it's here:* the biggest pages here, US letter size (8.5 × 11 in), from Legend's seller, with a box for each day and a habit tracker. - **Goal mapping:** [Passion Planner](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/passion-planner/). *Why it's here:* the Passion Roadmap breaks goals down over several time spans, with monthly reflections and half-hour blocks, in three sizes. ## How did we choose these picks? **We compiled these picks from published sources, not hands-on testing: makers' store specs, Amazon page counts, ratings and ranks, US availability and price band.** All five are undated and in our $$$ band, so we chose by how you plan: weekly, a daily routine, one big task, more room or goals. ## How do the five planners compare? **All five are undated and in our $$$ band; they differ in how long one book lasts and how much each page asks of you.** | | Legend | Panda Classic | Productivity Planner | Clever Fox PRO | Passion Planner | |---|---|---|---|---|---| | Pick | Best overall | Daily routine | One big task | More room | Goal mapping | | Layout | Weekly + monthly | Daily + weekly + monthly | Daily (2 pages) + weekly | Weekly + monthly | Weekly + monthly | | Lasts | About 1 year (56 weeks) | About 3 months | 90 days | 52 weeks | 1 year | | Size | A5, 148 × 210 mm (5.8 × 8.3 in) | 133 × 210 mm (5.25 × 8.25 in) | 145 × 210 mm (5.7 × 8.3 in) | 216 × 279 mm (8.5 × 11 in) | Small 148 × 210 mm; Large 198 × 279 mm (7.8 × 11 in) | | Paper | 120 gsm | 100 gsm | Recycled FSC paper | 120 gsm (reviewers) | 120 gsm | | Cover | Faux leather, hard | Vegan leather, hard | Fabric | Faux leather, soft | Faux leather, soft | | Made in | Not stated | China | China | Not stated | China | | Band | $$$ | $$$ | $$$ | $$$ | $$$ | Specs are from each maker's store, with Legend's page count and the Panda's paper weight from Amazon; see Notes on these facts. ![Planner sizes to scale: Legend 148 × 210 mm, Panda Classic 133 × 210 mm, Productivity Planner 145 × 210 mm, Passion Small 148 × 210 mm, Clever Fox PRO 216 × 279 mm and Passion Large 198 × 279 mm](https://stationerytimes.com/images/best-productivity-planners-sizes.svg) *Four are A5 height; the Clever Fox PRO and the Passion Planner Large are letter height.* ## Should you choose a daily or a weekly planner? **Choose a weekly if you mostly track appointments and goals, and a daily if you want a routine that makes you plan each morning.** A weekly book lasts about a year, so you buy one; the two dailies here last about three months each. The Panda Classic gives each day a morning review, a priority list and an hourly schedule. The Productivity Planner spends two pages a day on tasks: the Most Important Task, up to four more, a schedule from 6 am to 9:30 pm and a notes page. ## Which planner is best for goal setting? **The Passion Planner and the Legend Planner, which both start with structured goal pages before the weeks.** Passion Planner's Passion Roadmap has you brainstorm goals over several time spans and break the chosen ones into steps, and each month ends with a reflection page. The Legend and Clever Fox planners put their goal and monthly pages up front, then weekly spreads. Intelligent Change keeps the Productivity Planner to tasks, with Focus Time, its take on the Pomodoro technique, for timed work sessions. ## Is a bigger planner better? **Only if it stays on your desk.** The Clever Fox PRO at 8.5 × 11 in gives each day its own box and adds a habit tracker, but it is about the size of a sheet of printer paper. The four A5-height books fit most bags. Passion Planner sells its weekly in Small (A5), Medium (6.9 × 9.8 in) and Large, so you can pick the layout first and the size second. ## Which planners are the most popular in the US? **The Legend Planner leads on Amazon ratings, followed by the Panda Planner Classic.** On October 22, 2026, Legend's A5 listing had 25,314 ratings and ranked No. 197 in Planners; the Panda had 11,168 at No. 373 and the Productivity Planner 2,344 at No. 508. Passion Planner began on Kickstarter in October 2013 and sells mainly through its own store. If you journal rather than plan, Intelligent Change's [Five Minute Journal](https://stationerytimes.com/guides/five-minute-journal/) uses the same undated format, with gratitude prompts instead of tasks. ## Where are they made? **Intelligent Change says the Productivity Planner is made in China, Passion Planner's store data says China, and Panda's founder named suppliers in China in 2017.** Legend and Clever Fox, both sold by SV Digital, LLC of Riga, Latvia, don't state a country, so check the label. Many people with ADHD like the Panda Planner Classic's fixed morning routine and short priority list, and Amazon now lists it as an ADHD planner, though Panda makes no medical claim. If daily pages feel like too much writing, a weekly such as the Legend Planner asks less of you each day. ### Is Legend Planner the same company as Clever Fox? Yes. Both stores' terms name SV Digital, LLC of Riga, Latvia, so the Legend Planner and the Clever Fox Planner PRO share a seller; they differ in size and cover. ### What is the difference between a daily and a weekly productivity planner? A daily planner, such as the Panda Classic or the Productivity Planner, gives each day its own page or spread and lasts about three months. A weekly planner, such as the Legend, Clever Fox or Passion, puts a week on one spread and lasts about a year. ### Can you start an undated planner in the middle of the year? Yes. You write the dates in yourself, so all five planners here can start on any Monday, and a missed week leaves no blank dated pages. ### Which productivity planner has the most room to write? The Clever Fox Planner PRO at 8.5 × 11 in (216 × 279 mm), followed by the Passion Planner Large at 7.8 × 11 in. The other three are A5 height. ### Do these planners work with fountain pens? The 120 gsm paper in the Legend, Clever Fox and Passion planners is thick for planners, and reviewers report little ghosting, but none is sold as fountain-pen paper. Test a fine nib on the back page first. ### Where are these productivity planners made? Intelligent Change says the Productivity Planner is made in China, Passion Planner's store data tags its planners China, and Panda's founder said in 2017 that it was made in China. Legend and Clever Fox don't state a country. ## Sources - [Legend Planner: Weekly Undated Planner (official store: layouts, 120 gsm paper, bookmarks, A5 and A4 sizes)](https://legendplanner.com/products/weekly-planner) - [Legend Planner: Terms of Service (SV Digital, LLC, Riga, Latvia)](https://legendplanner.com/policies/terms-of-service) - [Amazon US: Legend Planner Undated A5 (25,314 ratings; No. 197 in Planners; 13 monthly calendars, 56 weekly spreads, 25 dotted pages; read October 22, 2026)](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H4JL57S) - [Panda Planner: 3 Month Panda Classic (official store: 5.25 × 8.25 in, morning review, daily, weekly and monthly views)](https://pandaplanner.com/products/panda-planner-classic-original) - [Amazon US: Panda Planner Classic (11,168 ratings; No. 373 in Planners; 100 gsm, sewn binding; read October 22, 2026)](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013Z5Y70K) - [Alizila: Positivity and Alibaba Help U.S. Entrepreneur Plan a Better Future (May 4, 2017; Panda Planner made by suppliers in China)](https://www.alizila.com/?p=857) - [Intelligent Change: Productivity Planner (official page: 256 pages, 3 months, daily two-page spread, A5, made in China)](https://www.intelligentchange.com/products/productivity-planner) - [Amazon US: Intelligent Change Productivity Planner (2,344 ratings; No. 508 in Planners; read October 22, 2026)](https://www.amazon.com/dp/0991846222) - [Clever Fox: PRO Weekly (8.5 × 11 in, faux leather soft cover, 3 ribbons, pocket, sticker sheets)](https://cleverfoxplanner.com/products/pro-weekly) - [Clever Fox: Terms of service (SV Digital, LLC, Riga, Latvia)](https://cleverfoxplanner.com/policies/terms-of-service) - [Passion Planner: Specs (sizes, 221 pages, 120 gsm, contents)](https://passionplanner.com/pages/specs) - [Passion Planner: Weekly Undated Planner, Elite Black](https://passionplanner.com/products/weekly-undated-planner-elite-black)
